Our partner ATHENA participated in the 86th Thessaloniki International Fair, held in the city of Thessaloniki from 10 till 18 September 2022, where EASIER has been massively demonstrated. The 86th TIF concluded with quantitative and qualitative characteristics after welcoming over 200,000 people of all ages, to this year’s honoured country being the United Arab Emirates.
Athena showcased the EASIER project on how artificial intelligence can facilitate our communication through Paula, our multilingual avatar. Users selected their preferred language and with the help of an automatic translation and sign language content development engine, words are translated into meanings or vice versa.
Furthermore, ATHENA disseminated EASIER at the Athens DEAFestival 2022, which took place on Saturday, 24 September 2022 at the premises of the National Deaf Foundation.
